Central Care Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. With your support we can expand our efforts throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. As we meet the changing needs of the aging population, we’ve been identifying bigger challenges that needs to be addressed now. That's why I'm asking you to partner with CCF.

CCF is reaching our senior citizens in the community that are suffering in silence due to low income, lack of support, and limited resources. With your support we can give unconditional care to seniors that has been missing. Being able to remain independent is essential to many aging people. Some seniors only require help with a few daily tasks to maintain their independence, however, those living with serious illnesses may need more extensive assistance.

Our ongoing project “Hoard No More” provides non-medical service and community-based social service to help with clutter-free homes to create a safe living environment. This will reduce fall risks, make daily life healthier, and discourage hoarding. Too much clutter around the house can lead to an unhealthy environment that may cause respiratory problems, skin infections, gastrointestinal disorders, allergy symptoms, or other health conditions. 

Safety is a number one priority for our clients. Our staff will provide a service that will decrease the risk of environmental hazard, by removing unwanted items. Clutter can attract insects and rodents, hygienic issues throughout the home and hide serious issues like mold or mildew.  If clutter is not removed and there is a lack of cleanliness your loved one may experience unexplained health conditions.

Providing age-friendly efforts can help seniors continue to be valuable and active participants in their communities. The good news is anyone can help make the aging experience better. Whether a seasonal or situational need, the physical demands can be overwhelming.
